10 Reasons Why Jupiter, Florida is the Best Place to Live on Earth

Jupiter residents consider themselves very fortunate. Coastal Living has included us among “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns.” Nestled in the northern section of Palm Beach County, Jupiter is part of the Miami metropolitan area. Gratefully, we’re spared the hectic pace of city life. Here are ten reasons why Jupiter, Florida is the best place to live on earth.

  1. Jupiter is home to an enchanting arboretum.

On the campus of Florida Atlantic University, Huckshorn Arboretum, you can see a gorgeous oasis! Benches throughout the grounds confer relaxation and give the people the opportunity to slow down and observe the lovely flowers, trees, and shrubs. In the butterfly garden, plants lure the jeweled beauties with sweet nectar. Students and scouts are invited to maintain the arboretum as meaningful volunteer experience. An internship program offers school credit for participation in environmental projects.

  1. Our beaches are idyllic

We have six pristine sections of coastline, each with free parking and beautiful views! Here are the highlights of each

Athletes favor the park for its softball field, fitness trail, and courts for bocce, tennis, and volleyball. The waterfront draws divers and snorkelers, and dolphin pods are commonly seen offshore. Small pavilions near the beach are equipped with grills. The park also encompasses a nature preserve.

Coral Covealthough it is one of Jupiter’s less frequented beaches, the atmosphere here is serene! Sculpted rock formations resembling craters look almost other-worldly! The coral resides at a shallow depth, so it’s easily seen when snorkeling. The reef is Jupiter’s best place to snorkel, courtesy of calm water and the abundance of tropical fish. Parking and picnic tables are also plentiful.

DuBois Park – Families flock to the river, where the water is shallow and safe for young children. Ocean swimming is suited to adults. The park is a favorite spot for rollerblading, hiking, biking, and kayaking. South of the guarded swimming section, snorkeling is excellent, brimming with colorful fish!
