Where to Celebrate 4th of July and Why

First, let’s not forget why we celebrate 4th of July. It is not for fireworks and hot dogs. 4th of July is what represents the core of our beliefs, the very make up of our identity as a U.S. citizen. We should celebrate it in honor of our country, the men and women who defend it, and our freedom.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We celebrate the men and women who had at that time, the courage to fight tyranny. It is a yearly reminder for Americans to maintain their freedoms which our founding fathers were kind enough to give us a detailed document called the Declaration of Independence in case we forget.

If you would like to venture out to the Stuart area. I encourage helping them in this time of need. Small business has suffered greatly in our sister town. Stuart is a beautiful place and their fireworks display is one of the best in the area.

Star Spangled Stuart

  • Family Fun with Live Country Music starting at 4 pm.
  • Children’s activity area, vendors, plenty of good
  • All American food.
  • Stuart Community Band will be performing patriotic music beginning at 7 pm.
  • Fireworks begin At 9 pm.
  • Boaters can view the fireworks while anchored in the river or dock at the City of Stuart.
July 4th Mega Bash at Roger Dean Stadium

Mega Bash & 4th of July Celebration Abacoa

  • 6:00 p.m. matchup between the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Jupiter Hammerheads.
  • Gates open at 4:30 pm and the KIDS AREA opens then too.
  • The Kids Area will include inflatable slides, games and bounce houses for an extra cost of $8 per child.
  • Fireworks EXTRAVAGANZA will be after the game.
